This unique design totally encloses the danger zone of vertical milling machines.  Manufactured from sheet steel with a clear 4mm adjustable polycarbonate visor, the shield is side hinged allowing immediate access for bit and chuck changes.

• Mild steel with 4 mm polycarbonate visor, adjustable to suit machine depth stop bracket
• Remains stationary allowing depth stop collar and chuck to pass through length adjustable vizor
• Attaches to miller head by means of pinch screws/bracket
• Accommodates heads up to 5.75in and spindles up to 4.5in

The optional interlock switch prevents the machine from operating unless the guard is closed and secured, shutting down power or halting hazardous functions when the guard is opened.

It ensures operator safety by requiring guards to be in place before hazardous movements can occur.
